Contest rules

These rules (the “Rules”) stipulate the conditions of participation applicable to the “International Sketchnote Camp 2021” (hereinafter the “Contest”).

Article 1 – Organiser

The Contest is organized by SKETCHNOTE BELGIUM A.S.B.L., whose registered office is at 1170 Watermael-Boitsfort, Rue des Béguinettes 15 (hereinafter referred to as the “Organiser”).

Article 2 – Acces and duration

The Contest is accessible via the column Sketchange contest in the ISC21BE Padlet (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”) (https://padlet.com/sketchnotebelgium/e414b4aumrdv14kt) from Friday 10 Sep 2021 at 5:00 p.m. to Sunday 12 Sep 2021 at 6:00 p.m. Brussels time (CEST).

The participation on the Contest is free.

Article 3 – Conditions of participation

• Anyone registered for the International Sketchnote Camp 2021 can participate in the Contest. Applicants must participate in their own name. Any entry received before the end of the competition will be taken into account.
• To participate in the Contest, the participant must post on the Website a sketchnote, handwritten or digital, whatever the sketchnote, whether it relates to a workshop, a keynote, things happening around the official agenda, the atmosphere, etc.
• The sketchnotes posted by the participants on the Website must clearly mention the names and surnames of their author, in the Latin alphabet. Failure to meet these criteria may result in the participation being canceled by the Organiser.
• The Organiser reserves the right to refuse the participation of a person in case of violation of one of the conditions of participation, in case of abuse or participation in bad faith.

Article 4 – Election of winners

• The Organizer will randomly draw six (6) sketchnotes from among the entries validly posted on the Website (the “Winners”).
• No complaint will be accepted against the decisions of the Jury which are final.

Article 5 – Prize

• Each Winner will be offered a voucher of 50 EUR from NEULAND, sponsor of the International Sktechnote Camp 2021 (the “Prize”) valid until 15 Oct 2021. The Prize will be awarded to them by email.
• The Prize may not under any circumstances be transferred, offered for sale or exchanged for a sum of money. The Prize is not redeemable on NEULAND promotional products and books which are subject to the national book price fixing. The Prize excludes free shipping.

Article 6 – Publication of participations

• Each participant accepts in advance the publication of his sketchnote by the Organiser on any medium whatsoever (website of the Organiser, or its members, or Sponsors of the event, social networks, etc.) without this use may give rise to the right to any compensation. The Organiser respects the Creative Commons license Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 2.0 Generic (CC BY-NC-ND 2.0).
• If a participant does not wish his sketchnote to be published, he must stipulate this in writing in a message sent to the Organiser via the contact form available on the Website. However, the Organiser may decide to exclude the participant from the Contest.

Article 7 – General provisions

• By the simple fact of participating in the Contest, participants acknowledge having accepted these Rules.
• The Organiser declines all responsibility if, due to force majeure or for any reason beyond its control, the duration of the Contest is modified or if the Contest is modified or canceled.
• The Organiser reserves the right to modify the Rules at any time.

Règlement du concours

Ce règlement (le « Règlement ») stipule les conditions de participation applicables au concours “International Sketchnote Camp 2021” (ci-après le « Concours »).

Article 1 – Organisateur

Le Concours est organisé par SKETCHNOTE BELGIUM A.S.B.L., dont le siège social est établi à 1170 Watermael-Boitsfort, Rue des Béguinettes 15 (ci-après dénommé l’ «  Organisateur »).

Article 2 – Accès et durée

Le Concours est accessible via le Padlet de l’ISC21BE (ci-après dénommé le «  Site Internet ») (https://padlet.com/sketchnotebelgium/e414b4aumrdv14kt) du vendredi 10 septembre 2021 à 17h00 au dimanche 12 septembre 2021 à 18h00, heures de Bruxelles (CEST).

La participation au concours est gratuite.

Article 3 – Conditions de participation

• Toute personne inscrite à l’International Sketchnote Camp 2021 peut participer au Concours. Les candidats doivent participer en leur nom propre. Toute participation reçue avant la fin du concours sera prise en compte.
• Pour participer au Concours, le participant devra poster sur le Site Internet un sketchnote, manuscrit ou digital, quelque soit la sketchnote, qu’elle port sur un atelier, une keynote, quelque chose qui se passe autour de l’agenda officiel, l’atmosphere, etc.
• Les sketchnotes déposés par les participants sur le Site Internet devront mentionner lisiblement les noms et prénoms de leur auteur, en alphabet latin. A défaut de répondre à ces critères, la participation pourra être considérée comme nulle par l’Organisateur.
• L’Organisateur se réserve le droit de refuser la participation d’une personne en cas de violation de l’une des conditions de participation, en cas d’abus ou de participation de mauvaise foi.

Article 4 – Election des gagnants

• L’Organisateur tirera au sort six (6) sketchnotes parmi les participations valablement postées sur le Site Internet (les « Gagnants »).
• Aucune réclamation ne sera admise contre les décisions du Jury qui sont définitives.

Article 5 – Prix

• Chaque Gagnant se verra offrir un bon d’achat de 50 euros chez NEULAND, sponsor de l’International Sktechnote Camp 2021 (le « Prix ») valable jusqu’au 15 octobre 2021. Le Prix leur sera remis par e-mail.
• Le Prix ne peut en aucun cas être cédé, mis en vente ou échangé contre une somme d’argent. Le Prix n’est pas échangeable sur les produits promotionnels NEULAND ni sur les livres soumis à un prix fixé par pays. Le Prix exclut les frais de livraison.

Article 6 – Publication des participations

• Chaque participant accepte par avance la publication de son sketchnote par l’Organisateur sur quelque support que ce soit (site internet de l’Organisateur ou de ses membres, ou des Sponsors de l’évènement, réseaux sociaux, etc.) sans que cette utilisation puisse ouvrir droit à une quelconque indemnité. L’organisateur respecte la Creative Commons licence Attribution – Pas d’Utilisation Commerciale – Pas de Modification 2.0 Générique (CC BY-NC-ND 2.0).
• Si un participant ne souhaite pas que son sketchnote soit publié, il devra le stipuler par écrit dans un message envoyé à l’Organisateur via le formulaire de contact disponible sur le Site Internet. Toutefois, l’Organisateur peut décider d’exclure le participant du concours.

Article 7 – Dispositions générales

• Par le simple fait de participer au Concours, les participants reconnaissent avoir accepté le présent Règlement.
• L’Organisateur décline toute responsabilité si, en raison de force majeure ou pour toute raison indépendante de sa volonté, la durée du Concours est modifiée ou si le Concours est modifié ou annulé.
• L’Organisateur se réserve le droit de modifier le Règlement à tout moment.
